Xprompt Design supported the long-term development of a logistics tracking platform for a US-based product company serving large logistics and retail operators. The system processed high volumes of cargo data in near real time and operated in environments where downtime directly affected business performance.
Over more than 10 years, our distributed engineering teams helped design, develop, and evolve the platform without disruptive rewrites. As the system grew in scale and complexity, we addressed performance bottlenecks, limited operational visibility, heavy manual handling of unreadable cargo, and the need for stronger monitoring across thousands of hardware units.
What we delivered:
scalable architecture for secure, low-latency data ingestion, processing, and storage
centralized analytics and visualization for operations, reporting, and equipment visibility
real-time monitoring of software components and physical logistics equipment
proactive detection of overloads, failures, and performance degradation
24/7 production support and diagnostics
automated remote installation, updates, deployment, and rollback processes
ML and AI components for recognition of previously unreadable cargo
gradual cloud migration to improve scalability, resilience, and availability
Business outcomes:
stable production operation over 10+ years
reduced downtime through proactive monitoring and support
less manual handling due to ML-based recognition
faster processing and decision-making under peak load
better visibility into equipment health, utilization, and failures
ability to introduce new functionality and scale without full platform rewrites
Why this experience matters:
This project reflects Xprompt Design’s ability to take long-term ownership of mission-critical systems, integrate ML and AI into real production environments, and evolve complex platforms under continuous load without sacrificing operational continuity.
